Each faculty member is a working professional with up-to-date knowledge and insight in the subjects and skills they teach.
Registered Professional Safety Engineer with over 40 years hands-on experience. Jack has intimate knowledge of safety systems and their impact on the workplace. He brings this knowledge and experience to the classroom in a creative and challenging manner. Emeritus member of the American Society of Safety Engineers.
Bob has more than 30 years experience in safety including construction, insurance, electronics, nuclear plants and associations. He served as an adjunct professor in the graduate program in Safety for the University of Southern California. Bob holds a Master’s Degree from Golden Gate University and is a Professional Member of the American Society of Safety Engineers.
Tim Thrift has over 25 years experience in safety, maintenance and operations of mobile equipment and shop repair facilities. He has been the Service/Maintenance Manager as well as a First Aid and Safety Officer for several companies. Tim has been a certified instructor since 1997.
Tim is a graduate of the Professional Safety Institute and is certified as an Occupational Health and Safety Technologist. He is a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers.
Ray is a veteran of the California Dept. of Forestry. His intimate knowledge of forestry/outdoor environments and the tools and equipment used there make him an excellent teacher.
